About the Wedding Doli

A traditional bridal doli (palanquin) in wood, fiber and premium fabric, used for the bride’s entrance. It is made to order by artisans at our workshop in Rajkot, India, then crated and sent by sea to the United States. The price we quote already includes ocean freight, US customs duty and white-glove delivery, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

Is it right for your venue?

This piece is suited to hotel ballrooms and banquet halls and outdoor ceremonies. Send us a photo of the room or a floor plan with your quote request and we will confirm the size and placement before you pay a deposit.

For outdoor setups, we recommend an anchoring plan matched to the surface (lawn stakes, base weights or sandbags). Check your venue’s wind and structure rules in writing and keep a rain plan.

Ordering, production and delivery

1. Design and quote. Choose size and finish. We send an itemized USD quote and, for custom work, a 3D mockup within 48 hours.
2. Deposit. A 25% deposit reserves your production slot.
3. Handcrafting. Built to your order, with photo updates every seven days.
4. Inspection and shipping. A live video inspection before dispatch, then insured sea freight.
5. Delivery. White-glove delivery to your venue or home, with an assembly video and numbered parts.

Care and storage

Wipe surfaces with a soft dry cloth. Store crated in a dry, temperature-stable space, and keep the original crate if you plan to rent or resell. Fabric and flowers can be taken down and packed separately.
