About the Maharaja Wedding Chair

A high-backed maharaja-style chair for the couple, with carved wood, metal accents and upholstered seat. It is made to order by artisans at our workshop in Rajkot, India, then crated and sent by sea to the United States. The price we quote already includes ocean freight, US customs duty and white-glove delivery, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

Is it right for your venue?

This piece is suited to hotel ballrooms and banquet halls and temples and community halls. Send us a photo of the room or a floor plan with your quote request and we will confirm the size and placement before you pay a deposit.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the Maharaja Wedding Chair take to arrive?

Standard designs take about 4 to 8 weeks to make and custom designs 8 to 14 weeks. Ocean transit to the US is typically 25–40 days depending on the port, followed by white-glove delivery. Plan on roughly three to five months from order to delivery, and order four to six months before your event so there is room for changes.

Is duty included in the price?

Yes. Our quoted price is delivered and duty-paid. You will not be asked to pay customs charges on arrival.

Can I customize size or color?

Yes. Send your requirements with a quote request and we will confirm what is possible.

What if it is damaged in transit?

Every shipment is insured and every order carries our transit-damage replacement guarantee. Photograph the crates before opening and contact us the same day.
